Donner Memorial State Park at 12593 Donner Pass Road, Truckee, California.

It's a beautiful historical area. There a decent sized pound in the back where I fished didn't catch anything but wasn't there long and I'm sure it wasn't stocked because it wasn't camping season. By the way it's a nice park with picknick benches everywhere and my friend told me it doesn't get to crowded at all and theres plenty of spots to choose. There's a trail for kids to play along with a steam to walk along very clear also paddle boats for the children. The museum is pretty cool I'd check it out. Military discount if you're 50% or more disabled which makes this park free for you otherwise you'll be paying 5 bucks which is pretty cheap but I would check on the prices they can always change.
